Get Funky, Jacksonville!
Funky Buddha is launching in the greater Jacksonville area on August 18th. Funky Buddha draft and bottles will be available starting on that date in retailers, restaurants, and bars throughout the area. Brown Distributing will be handling all sales and distribution.
Brands available at launch will include Funky Buddha’s best-selling flagships Hop Gun IPA and Floridian Hefeweizen, as well as seasonal and limited releases such as Blueberry Cobbler and Last Snow (the later debuts on August 18th throughout Florida).
Funky Buddha will celebrate the launch with special events at partnering retailers. Please check out the lineup below for more information.
Launch Events
Tuesday, August 18th
Total Wine & More: We’ll be sampling our beers to customers from 2-4pm. Stop in and check us out!
Alewife Craft Beer & Bottle Shop: Taste 6 Buddha beers on draft and pick up bottles to go at Alewife. Meet the Buddha crew from 5-7pm!
Blind Rabbit – Riverside: Join us for a la carte beer and bite pairings with Funky Buddha beers on draft. 7:30pm
Kickbacks Gastropub: We’ll be hosting a tap enlightenment! Buddha crew will be on site after 9:30pm to hang out and talk beers as we sip brews!
Beer:30 King Street: Join them for a Funky Buddha spotlight with growlers to go and bottles available.
Wednesday, August 19
ABC 191: Join us for a sampling of our bottled beers from 3-5pm.
Royal Palm Wine & Tapas: This tapas spot will feature limited drafts and delicious bites paired with them. Buddha crew will be on hand from 5-7pm.
Zeta Brewing Co: This tap enlightenment will kick off at 7pm with some outstanding limited release brews!
Thursday, August 20
Beer:30 San Marco: The Buddha crew will be on site from 4:30-6:30pm showcasing our beers and talking shop. Grab a pint with us or just pick up a growler to go!
Kitchen on San Marco: The Kitchen will be whipping up some a la carte pairings with our beers – grab a plate or two and mingle starting at 6:30pm.
Grape & Grain Exchange/The Parlour: We’re going to close down our launch with the Grape & Grain Exchange and lots of limited beers on tap! We’ll be in the house around 9pm.
