As many of you know, in August of last year we released bottles of Barrel-Aged Muy Bonita here at the brewery. At the time of release we were super happy with the beer. But over time, we started receiving reports that some bottles of Muy Bonita were exhibiting characteristics consistent with contamination and/or spoilage. While it appeared as if these characteristics (sulfurous aroma; excessive carbonation) were not present in all bottles, it was clear that they did present themselves more readily in bottles that were stored warm for extended periods of time.

We recommend that any customer still holding onto an unopened bottle of BA Muy Bonita return it to the tap room for a full refund. Our current return policy for Barrel-Aged Muy Bonita is as follows:

• You may return unopened bottles of BA Muy Bonita to our Tap Room at any time. We are open noon to midnight, 7 days/week. Please ask for a manager to conduct your returns.
• For each unopened bottle returned, you will receive $25 credit at the brewery in the form of a gift card. We’ll also buy you a beer to enjoy during your visit (limit 2). 
• We can process your return by mail if you choose. We will provide you with$25 Funky Buddha Webstore credit per unopened bottle returned. You can mail your unopened bottles to:
