**************

It’s birthday time! Funky Buddha Brewery is turning two years old on May 30th. Time flies!

We’re going to be celebrating our anniversary with a bang – and by bang, we mean an epic all-day street festival with bands, food trucks, and dozens of limited and special release beers!

Celebrate with us Saturday, May 30th from noon to 10pm. 38th Street will be shut down from Dixie Highway to 13th Ave in front of the brewery, and we’ll be taking over the parking lot south of our main entrance to accommodate more revelry. It’s sure to be an amazing time as we tap limited beers from the brewery in addition to rare guest draughts from local and national brewery friends of ours. Don’t miss out on the fun!

Below is some information on the release. Check back periodically as we will continually update this page in the coming weeks.

Two Year Anniversary Festival and Block Party Schedule

Date: Saturday, May 30, 2015

Festival hours: 12pm to 10pm

Tap room hours: 12pm to midnight

Cost of entry is free all day long

Ticket Sales Format:
To keep our lines moving quickly and efficiently we will be using beer tickets the entire day. Tickets are good day of event only and are non-refundable. Unlike previous events where we had multiple small ticket booths, this year we will be using two main booths to run ticket sales. If you’ve been to MBCP Day, the way we handled bottle sales is roughly how we will handle tickets – we think this will bring wait times down even further! It’s our goal to have you having fun, not waiting in line.

  • Tickets cost $6 each and are good for any beer on site (pour sizes may vary)
  • Ticket booths are located in the South Lot and at the East end of the festival grounds (map to come)
  • You must be 21 or over to purchase tickets and redeem them for beers
  • Ticket sales are cash or credit. ATMs will be located near the ticket tents. Bringing cash will expedite the process for everyone!
  • All sales are final.

Parking

See map – Parking options are as follows:

  • Main parking for the fest will be located at 4100 N Dixie Highway, three blocks north of the brewery along Dixie. Parking here will cost $5 CASH ONLY and include a complimentary shuttle during peak hours. This lot will be lit, manned, and protected so it is your best place to park!
  • The public lot south of the main tap room entrance and the festival grounds
  • Either of the grass fields across Dixie Highway
  • Please do not park on our neighbor’s lawns or in front of their driveways, or in front of businesses down the plaza along Dixie Highway. Our neighbors WILL tow! Also if you are caught parking in a swayle or in front of a residential building, you will be ticketed by BSO. They are being strict this year, but we do have ample parking available so don’t do it!

We highly recommend taking UBER to and from the festival! UBER will be running a promotion for the event – enter the code GETFUNKY to receive $20 off your first ride. Download the UBER app at www.uber.com.
